Do I have to be a member to use the range?
No. Memberships are available but are not required.
How much is the hourly rate for a lane?
Lanes are $20 per person, per hour.
How long are your lanes?
Lanes are 25 yards.
Do you have a dress code?
Eye and ear protection and closed toed shoes are required. Tank tops are not permitted. Beyond that, keep in mind that hot brass will be ejected from all firearms.
How many people can share a lane?
For safety reasons, only two people can share a lane. Only one person may fire at a time.
What do I need to do as a new shooter?
We recommend having an experienced shooter with you on the range. In lieu of that, we do offer training based on availability. If you are unsure, please speak to someone in the showroom for assistance or clarification.
What is the age limit to shoot on the range?
Children 10 and older may shoot on the range under direct parental supervision.
Can I rent firearms to use on the range?
Yes. You can rent any used pistol for $25 or any used long gun for $45 but you must purchase our ammunition. We will also collect a CC & ID to hold prior to you entering the range.
What is the age limit for rentals?
You must be at least 21 years old to rent any of our firearms.
Can I handle the machine guns in the showroom?
No. All MGs and SMGs are only to be handled by staff unless they are rented and on the range.
Do you provide ear and eye protection?
Ear and eye protection are available for purchase. Foam ear protection is $1, over ear protection is $15, and eye protection is $5.
What calibers are allowed on the range?
All pistol calibers are allowed. Rifles up to .308 are permitted. No armor piercing, incendiary, or tracer rounds are allowed.
Can I shoot shotguns on the range?
No. Shotguns are not currently permitted on the range.
Can I bring my own targets/ammo/eyes/ears?
Yes. We allow you to bring everything you need, but ammo and firearms will be checked to verify they meet our safety guidelines.
How should I bring a firearm into the store?
All firearms must be unloaded prior to entering the store. If you have a CCW and are carrying, the firearm must remain concealed. If you wish to shoot your CCW, you must unload prior to entering the store.
Can I shoot rifles on the range?
Yes. Our range is equipped to support rifles up to a .308 caliber.
Can I do holster draws?
No.
Can I shoot single handed?
No.
Can I shoot my firearm without a sight?
No. We do not allow the use of firearms without sights on our range.
Do I need a reservation to shoot on the range?
No. They are available, but not required. Lanes will be utilized on a first come, first serve basis. We do recommend if you have a large group to reserve lanes online. If the range is busy and there is a waitlist, members will automatically go to the top of the list.
Can I take pictures or videos on the range?
Absolutely! We encourage people to record and share photos of their experiences at Lewman Arms & Range. However, photos should be taken by someone other that the shooter.
I am a private instructor; can I use your lanes to teach?
Yes, provided everyone (including the instructor) pays the range fee. Memberships do not include students brought in for instruction.

Can I purchase things online?
Yes. Holsters, cases, ammo, firearms, accessories, etc. are all available on our website.
Can I purchase a firearm if I am not a FL resident?
Yes. If you are purchasing a handgun online, it will have to be shipped to the FFL of your choosing in your home state to start the transfer process.
How long does the background check process take?
It will vary, but typically it will be within a few hours.
Can I have a firearm transferred to your store?
Yes. If you buy a firearm from somewhere other than our store, the seller will just need to know to send it to us. If they need a copy of our FFL, have them email us at lewmanrange3759@gmail.com
How much does a transfer cost?
The transfer fee is $30 per item.
Do you buy or trade guns?
Yes. Please come in and speak with Tiffani or Silbano if you are interested in selling or trading a gun.
How should I handle firearms while in the store?
For safety, all firearms will be unloaded prior to entering the store. If you are looking at a firearm from our case, they must be pointed at the floor while being examined.
Can I take a firearm apart?
No. Firearms for sale may not be disassembled. If you have questions, please ask an associate.
What is your return/refund policy?
All sales are considered final. If there is an issue of non-approval during a background check for a firearm sale, there will be a 35% restocking fee.
What is the age requirement to purchase a firearm?
Lewman Arms requires purchasers to be 21 or older.
What payment forms are accepted?
We accept Discover, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and cash in store.
How will I know when my gun or special order is ready to be picked up?
An associate will give you a phone call when your gun or special order is ready.
